The company's 120-odd year history
reflects the very history
of Carlisle. We have grown from selling potted
meats on a stall in Carlisle market to the company
we are today. The fifth generation of the Jenkins
family is currently steering the company into the
21st century.
We still trade in our
Fisher Street Shop in Carlisle where the company
used to sell meat to hungry housewives during days
of rationing in two world wars. The company head office
at Rosehill,
Carlisle, was built in 1974 at the same time as the
Borderway auction mart.
