Pioneer’s Cumberland sausage collected a
gold award at the British Pig Executive’s recent
awards for excellence at Bolton’s Reebok Stadium.
Their Mediterranean sausage and home-cured bacon struck
gold, while there were silver awards for their family
steak pie and marinated banquet lamb shoulder. The

The website is aimed at providing more information
regarding products and services to its customers.

International Limousin Congress, held at Borderway
Mart, Carlisle on Friday 6th August 2004. We supplied
Lakeland Beef fillet steak for the main meal, which
was the center piece of the event, attracting over
600 people from all around the world.

local lamb sourcing initiative in Carlisle has impressed
buyers with the quality of lambs supplied. The
pilot scheme reportedly aims to shorten the food supply
chain and add value to the process. The scheme, run
in conjunction with Harrison & Hetherington since
August of last year, has impressed clients, including
Pioneer Foodservice.

Carlisle based foodservice
specialist, Pioneer Foodservice, is investing more
than £100,000 in an Accord computer system from
supply chain software specialist, BCP (Business
Computer Projects Ltd) of Stockport.
