Pioneer Golden Ticket Winner Revealed
The Pioneer Golden Ticket was drawn after the show and we are pleased to reveal that Keith Taylor from the Butchers Arms in Crosby Ravensworth near Penrith was the lucky winner of a £1000 credit note.
Keith’s Area Sales Manager Sue Finnigan went to give Keith the good news. A stunned Keith said ‘I can’t believe it – I never win anything!’
He added, ‘I really enjoyed the food show – it was a perfect opportunity to view and sample many of the products that Pioneer supply, especially with the large range of local suppliers exhibiting. I go out of my way to buy as much local produce as I can at the Butchers Arms and have found the Dry Aged Lakeland Beef of consistently high quality since I started taking it about 18 months ago’.
The 2013 Food Show was our busiest ever and several exhibitors said it was one of the best they had ever done. We look forward to hosting the next one in 2015.
New look for Harrington shop
We are currently celebrating 35 successful years' trading in Harrington, having opened the shop back in 1977. It has always played a central role in the local community, serving up great local meats, groceries and frozen foods.
To coincide with this we have just completed the re-decoration of the outside of the shop. New signwork has been installed to reflect our new blue retail branding, incorporating the line "Finest Meats and Produce", and new window blinds and transfers have been fitted to match.
